Leading Edge Computers Cowra has been trading for over 25 years. Starting out as Cowra Computer Services, the business changed hands in 1999 and was subsequently rebranded as Leading Edge Computers.
Since the change of ownership the business has grown rapidly, bringing a much broader knowledge base and service level to our retail and business customers.
Leading Edge Computers has a motto of “Switched On Service”. We are a service oriented business with a philosophy to service what we sell. With this comes intricate product knowledge, providing our customers with an in-depth approach to the qualification of products for their specific needs. This is then followed up with highest level of after sales service as we are the Authorised Repair Centre for the majority of products we sell. The buck stops with us.
Leading Edge Computers Cowra are the Authorised Service Provider for each of the below brands. As part of the ASP relationship with each of these companies, all of our engineers are required to complete the training and certification requirements put forward by the vendors to maintain our Authorised Service Provider status.

The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications are designed to help validate an individual’s skills on the features and functionality of Microsoft technologies. An individual can show their depth of knowledge in one specific technology, earn multiple MCTS certifications to show breadth across different products, or build on the MCTS to earn a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification.
Microsoft Partners with this competency have proven expertise in building, customising, deploying and supporting IT solutions for small businesses. They have an intimate understanding of small business processes, infrastructure needs and future growth expenses.
The Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification helps validate that an individual has the comprehensive set of skills necessary to perform a particular job role, such as database administrator or enterprise messaging administrator. MCITP certifications build on the technical proficiency measured in the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. A CCNA’s competencies include mitigation of security threats, wireless networking, and performance-based skills. CCNA’s have demonstrated an understanding of the following protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).
Designed to ensure that IT professionals have the ability to not only recommend and sell solutions but also enable systems integrators to design, implement and support D-Link networking solutions, DCNE consists of three D-Link Product Specialist (DPS) certifications covering, routing, switching and wireless.
Toshiba ProCare Technician certification verifies that the certificate holder has undertaken Toshiba’s requirement of annual instructor led training and certification. This ensures that technicians are up to date with the latest technologies and maintenance procedures for Toshiba notebooks and all-in-ones.
